Join LAB MIAMI next Art Walk, June 9th for the opening of Amy Vázquez's solo show. The exhibition will showcase the artist's signature meditative abstract works on paper as well as a collection of paintings on panel.

Balancing organic forms with geometric rigidity, Vazquez aims to create new landscapes that exist in the threshold between the familiar and the unknown. Using materials included but not limited to acrylic, gouache, india ink, graphite and prismacolor pencils,Vazquez creates overall shapes made up of an intricate world of microcosmic sub-shapes suspended in a void of white expanse. Exploring the balance between excess & simplicity and chaos & serenity, Vazquez presents us with forms that continually push, pull, counteract and coexist while searching for the point where all the lines meet.

Amy Vazquez is a Miami-born San Francisco-based artist and received her BA in Studio Art from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. "Where All The Lines Meet" marks the artist's first solo show in Miami.
