The 1st annual FRIENDS OF ATELIER 1022 is a 'neo-informalist' showcase celebrating artistic fraternity and the studio's growing community of art friends across the globe. Representing the US, Germany, Romania, Colombia and Sweden, this polyglot blend of talent includes: Stephan Geisler, Miranda Göransson, Jimmy Hoffa Esq., Gaby Kelemen, Wolfgang Lehmann, Corina Nani, Lauren Olinger, Ellie Perla, Carola Perla, Susi Perla-Mendoza, Carlos Rodriguez-Feo, Johanna Stewart, Xiomara Lopez Vergara, and Razvan Voiculescu. Live music performance and CD release from 10-11 PM.

Today's artists draw inspiration from a broad pool of artistic incentives, and can share their work with the world in an instant.  This 'neo-informalism' is what we prepare to celebrate with our August - September exhibit FRIENDS OF ATELIER 1022.  The mix of artists joining us mirrors this contemporary artistic society: a polyglot blend of people of all ages, levels of experience, levels of success, exhibiting in all types of styles and media.  All under one roof, celebrating the informality of this artistic friendship and community.  NO RULES APPLY.
