WYNWOOD BRAND ACTIVATIONS
The Wynwood area has quickly become the top Miami destination for both local and international visitors. A typical weekend sees 50K+ foot traffic, while holidays and special events like Art Basel see a 100K-200K range in visitors. These numbers present an immense opportunity for brands to set up engaging wynwood brand activations and promotions. Because of our experience and ties in the area, Wynwood Art Walk has helped brands accomplish many marketing initiatives:
Samsung: Product Promotion
Samsung partnered with WAW to promote the launch of their new galaxy phone. WAW secured a space for Samsung in the high-traffic Wynwood Marketplace, where they set up a life-size phone box display. Every hour, the phone box opened to reveal brand ambassadors who showcased the phone, engaged with eventgoers, and gave out prizes.
Café Bustelo: Product Sampling
Café Bustelo partnered with WAW to increase brand affinity in the Miami area through product sampling. WAW secured a space for them in a high-traffic festival during Art Basel. Café Bustelo set up an elaborate activation with a life-size coffee can that doubled as a photo booth, a coffee bar with seating, and charging stations for eventgoers to get the full Bustelo experience.
City Furniture: Street Art Advertising
City Furniture contacted WAW looking for advertising space in Wynwood. City Furniture didn’t want the typical billboard, they wanted street art advertising to gain brand awareness for a new store opening in the area. WAW commissioned a graffiti artist—whose work fit the City Furniture brand—to paint a wall in the neighborhood, which displayed during Miami’s high season and Art Basel.
