In this independent, self-directed experience, you will experiment with spray paint and then paint two items to take home. You’ll have a rack of spray paint and a large canvas surface to work on. You can apply different amounts of pressure, varying distance (between surface and spray can) and different angles to manipulate the spray. You can “write” letters, try graffiti styles, or paint figures, gradients, or anything else you would like to try. When you’re ready, you will pick two items out of the available options which may include: empty spray can; canvas tote bag; bucket hat; small, stretched canvas; art paper. Using spray paint and if you like one or more of an array of small stencils at your disposal, you will design and paint your two items.
The activity takes place in front of our Wynwood Art Walk shop, in the parking lot.
We will provide you with an apron, disposable gloves, and paper mask (optional) to protect yourself from spray paint.
Once your items are painted, they may need a little time to dry. While they dry, you can wash up in our restroom and browse our shop.
**Recommended for: adults and children, singles, couples, families, friend groups.
**Not recommended for: pregnant women, children younger than about 5 years old

WHAT TO EXPECT
Protecting your clothes from spray paint: Spray paint does NOT wash out of clothes and may not come off shoes depending on the material. We provide an apron, but spray can fly. Dress or bring clothes/shoes accordingly.
Who is this activity for?: This activity is appropriate for adults and for children aged about 4 to 5 years old and up. It is not recommended for smaller children and for pregnant women.
Parking: Park at the Wynwood Garage (311 NW 26th Street) or on the surrounding streets using the Pay by Phone app, or have your driver drop you off directly at our shop.
Meeting Point: Our meeting point is our WAW Shop at 413 NW 27th Street, Miami, FL 33127. We are air-conditioned, have a restroom and sell cold drinks and a wide selection of original artwork, stickers, unique clothing, jewelry, and more.
Waivers: As an insurance requirement, all guests have to sign a liability waiver before the activity.
Dress Code: This is an outdoor activity, so come in comfy shoes and dressed for the weather. Sunscreen is also recommended.

They’re passionate both about spray paint and teaching, and that makes our classes worthwhile. They’re all either practicing or upcoming artists as well.

In one word: bad. Please give yourself plenty of time to find us, park, etc. If you’re late, we will do our best to accommodate you when you arrive, or on the next tour. We do not issue refunds due to late arrival, only credit.
We offer luggage storage at our shop during the day at $4.50/bag. No overnight storage.
You can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before your tour start time. If you contact us less than 24 hours before the tour start time, we offer credit towards a future tour (no refund). If you do not show for your tour and had not contacted us by tour start time, we are unable to provide any credit or refund.
This is an outdoor activity, so come dressed comfortably. We provide you with an apron and gloves, but spray paint can fly and it does not wash out of clothes or shoes, so come dressed in something (or bring with you to change into here) that you’re okay to get paint on.
We have a tent that helps if it sprinkles, and we stock disposable ponchos as well. If it rains too hard, you can take shelter in our store and finish after it stops. In the event of serious rain that keeps us from completing the activity, we cancel and refund your purchase.
